So I’ve been following this girl for about 4 years now back when she had only 60,000 views on Myspace. Told all my friends she was going to be the next big thing and even dropped her name to a few music critics I’ve been working with. Naturally given that I was just some rookie college kid, no one took me seriously and what do you know? She shows up with her debut album on the home page of itunes and was awarded best new artist in the UK. Case in point – Ellie Goulding is a fascinating blend between a singer songwriter soul mixing in with inde-electronica pop.
